Releasing on 24 July, the Air Jordan 12 “University Gold” certainly gives us deja vu of the 2003 Gary “The Glove” Payton’s revered Laker’s Jordan 12 PE:
Coming in a dual-tone color scheme, “University Gold” features black tumbled leather against lizard patterned leather in the oh-so glorious University Gold.
With stitching that resembles the rising sun pattern on the Japanese flag, the black upper bears a distinct appearance and extends down to the sole to give a mismatched look. Jumpman logos done in metallic gold stitching grace the otherwise understated upper.
On the forefoot, you find a bright yellow mudguard coming in lizard skin texture. In the same color is a subtle “JUMPMAN” branding.
