August Blue: 3 Upcoming Blue Sneakers in August 2020

Summer, beach, ocean… It seems like the color blue has some sort of association with the summer season. That’s why some of the most anticipated sneaker drops in August 2020 feature this marine hue.

We’ve curated a list of blue sneakers that’ll drop in less than a month, so continue reading if you want to add more blue to your daily rotation.

Nike Air Max 90 OG “Laser Blue”

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90, Nike is bringing back the fan favorite “Laser Blue” colorway in purely OG form.

With a simplistic color combination of white, grey, blue and black, the retro vibes are screaming right at your face. Constructed with leather and mesh, the white is contrasted by black and blue overlays. Of course don’t forget the grey Swooshes that are placed completely faithful to the original.

Giving us the true 90’s trainer fantasy is the chunky sole. A white midsole with an exposed Air unit is enveloped by black and blue, just like how it was back then.

Want these? You barely have to wait: cop the timeless “Laser Blue” online on August 1!

adidas Yeezy 350 V2 “Israfil”

If you’re more into down-to-earth hues, mark your calendar for when the adidas Yeezy 350 V2 “Israfil” comes out.

Set to release on August 22 with the asking price of $220 USD, “Israfil” features cream and grayish blue on its woven upper. Against the calm backdrop, a translucent lateral stripe strikes in vibrant orange.

Do pay attention to the laces on this pair, as Yeezy has incorporated the new bungee lacing system to their newer releases.

Following through the color scheme, the “Israfil” finishes with the same grayish blue midsole and an ever-so-familiar rubble outsole.

adidas Yeezy 700 V3 “Azareth”

Currently still in the works, “Azareth” is supposedly the newest addition to the Yeezy 700 V3 lineup.

As per the Yeezy tradition, the new colorway possesses a streamlined and futuristic appearance. Accentuating the blue PrimeKnit upper is a glow-in-the-dark semi-translucent cage overlay, with a cream panel covering the toe box.

All of this sits on top of a sizable white midsole, where the usual Boost cushioning is replaced by EVA foam.

In a way, the colorway is quite ocean-esque, making it perfect as a late summer release. “Azareth” is set to drop on August 29th with a price tag of $200 USD.
