Sneaker collaborations happen all the time, but get this: the upcoming releases this August are so good, you don’t want to miss them. Scroll down and see what’s on the way!
HUMAN MADE x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2020
The Human Made x adidas Originals collection is so massive it’ll leave you struggling to make up your mind. Including three silhouettes and three separate colorways for each model, a total of nine designs are on offer.
If you’re looking for fun and boldness, check out the Rivalry Lows. While the uppers feature clashing of vibrant colors, white lace and sole complement the design. “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” is printed on the iconic three Stripes, while the Human Made heart logo appears on the medial wall.
The Stan Smiths retain the simplistic design, with a leather upper in white or black. In place of the three Stripes, the signature Human Made heart logo sits next to three diagonal lines. A vintage yellowed sole completes the design.
Last but not least, the Campus 80s feature a suede upper with classic white overlay. The same “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” slogan can be found on the stripes, where the heart logo sits on the heel.
Set to release on August 6, the HUMAN MADE x adidas Originals collection will be available through online raffle.
‘The Simpsons’ x Vans
Fan of the Simpsons? Or do you just like retro colors, graphics and the overall extraness? You’re gonna like the upcoming ‘The Simpsons’ x Vans collection.
Being yet another huge collection, an “El Barto”-themed Chukka Pro and a lilac Lisa Simpson-inspired Sk8-Hi are the definite stand-outs. If you’re looking for more understated options, the color-blocking Slip-On Pro and Slide-On sandal will be perfect for you.
Do mark your calendar for this collection’s August 7 release, as they certainly will sell out FAST.
Ninja x adidas Superstar
Streamer Ninja and adidas joined forces to give us a subtle yet memorable design.
Crafted with white fine leather, the upper is accentuated with blue on the three Stripes, eyestay and ankle. A subtle gold spell out of “Ninja” can be found on the lateral side, while printed digital patterns grace the medial side of the pair.
The tongue is left untouched, but the “Time In” lace deubres and semi-translucent sole are enough to top off the overall appearance.
Scheduled for a UK release on August 8, the adidas Ninja x Superstar will retail for approximately $131 USD.
JJJJound x New Balance 992
When the JJJJound x New Balance 992 initially dropped, many sneakerheads were devastated to have missed the only few hundred pairs available.
If you’re one of them, August 20 will be your second chance. Coming in neutral grey and green, the 992s give off very calming energy. The upper features a perfect blend of suede, mesh and leather while sticking to the base tone. A set of cream laces brings focus to the rather understated color schemes.
Underneath is a comfortable chunky sole in both in vintage yellow and white, enveloped by a thin layer of black.
Seriously, go online on August 20 to get your hands on this release. Everybody is doing the same.
