Official Look at the fragment design x Air Jordan 3 Retro SP

If you’re keeping up with all sneaker news, you will know the collaboration between fragment design and Jordan Brand is one of the worst kept secrets in 2020. Teased in July by Hiroshi Fujiwara, the Air Jordan 3 Retro SP grabs the attention of virtually everyone.

Today, we are happy to say that Nike has confirmed the release and provided with us a few extra shots of the Air Jordan 3.

Basing off the classic Air Jordan 3 silhouette, this fragment design remake truly embodies the motto “Less is more”. The monochromatic pair features a white tumbled leather base and black leather across the mudguard and heel. And that is it, design-wise.

While some collaborations make sure the branding is loud and clear, this rendition of the Air Jordan 3 goes for subtlety. On the tongue, the stitched-on Jumpman logo is barely visible against the white backdrop. And the heel tab just adds more to the minimalist aesthetic by featuring the thunderbolt logo through a layer of translucent plastic.

Unlike the classic two-tone sole design, the fragment Air Jordan 3 finishes with an all-white sole. A very simplistic style code appears on the midsole to set the pair apart.

It is no surprise that this drop is highly anticipated, so don’t miss the September 17th release date. You can expect the retail price to be around $225 USD.
